Preheat the oven or air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
Wash and trim the asparagus spears.
Divide the asparagus into 8 even bundles.
Take one slice of bacon and wrap it around one bundle of asparagus, starting at the bottom and working your way up. Repeat with remaining asparagus bundles.
Place the bacon-wrapped asparagus bundles onto a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes or until the bacon is crispy and the asparagus is tender.
Once the asparagus is done, remove from the oven and sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.
